Performance Marketing Associate
About Think School
Think School is a fast-growing education and media brand known for making business, finance, strategy, and economics deeply engaging for millions of learners. We pair high-trust content with sharp commercial thinking, and as we scale our learning products, performance marketing has become the single most important growth lever in our business.
The Role
We are hiring a Performance Marketing Associate who has run real lower-funnel campaigns where the objective is purchases, sales, or qualified leads that converted into revenue.
You will own paid media on Meta and Google end-to-end. That means building campaigns, making structural decisions, diagnosing drops, scaling winners, and being directly accountable for CAC and ROAS.
This role is right for you if you have spent meaningful time inside Meta Ads Manager and Google Ads, personally setting up, optimising, and scaling lower-funnel campaigns focused on conversions, revenue, and real business outcomes.
What You Will Own
- Plan, build, and scale paid campaigns across Meta and Google with a direct focus on purchases, conversions, and revenue, and not just reach or impressions.
- Manage and optimise a monthly ad budget with full accountability for CAC, ROAS, CPM, CTR, CVR, and CPP, and the judgment to know which metric to act on first.
- Diagnose performance drops systematically; Check CPM, CTR, CVR, frequency, audience saturation, and landing page issues before touching anything, and fix the right thing.
- Structure campaigns intelligently like knowing when to use CBO vs ABO, how to segment ad sets, how to build Search campaigns for intent, and how to manage Performance Max without losing control etc.
- Run structured creative and audience tests, make scaling decisions backed by data, and document what works so the team builds on it.
- Own the full funnel; from campaign architecture to ad creative briefing to landing page conversion logic. If the number isn't moving, you find out why and fix it, pro-actively.
Who This Role Is For
- You have 1-2 years of hands-on performance marketing experience, brand-side at a D2C, e-commerce, or ed-tech company, or at a performance marketing agency running such accounts.
- You have personally managed ₹10L+ per month in ad spend, your budget, your decisions, your accountability. Not your team's total, but completely yours.
- Your primary campaign objectives have been purchases, sales, conversions, or qualified leads feeding a sales pipeline. If your primary metric has always been CPL with no connection to downstream revenue, this role is not the right fit.
- You are genuinely hands-on inside Meta Ads Manager and Google Ads. You build campaigns, adjust bids, review search terms, and make structural changes yourself.
- You can walk through your diagnostic process when performance drops: what you check first, in what order, and why, before you change anything.
- You understand the difference between a CPM problem, a CTR problem, and a CVR problem, and you know they require completely different responses.
- You are comfortable with ambiguity, move without waiting for instructions, and take ownership when numbers go wrong.
Why This Role?
- You will be trained and groomed directly by the CMO, working directly with CMO and alongside founders in a flat structure where your decisions go straight into execution.
- You will own meaningful budgets early, with direct visibility into how your work impacts business outcomes.
- You will operate at the intersection of content, product, and paid media in a brand that has already built deep audience trust. Your job is to convert that trust into revenue at scale.
- Growth here is outcome-driven, not tenure-driven. High performers get more responsibility, more budget, and a clear path forward, based entirely on what they deliver.
- You will build skills that compound: campaign architecture, budget management, diagnostic thinking, and commercial judgment; the fundamentals that make a performance marketer genuinely valuable anywhere.
