To lead and support Industrial Engineering activities for SMT (Surface Mount Technology) operations, focusing on process optimization, productivity improvement, cost reduction, and efficient utilization of resources, ensuring seamless production flow in alignment with business goals.

1. Capacity, Line Balancing & Programming
- Conduct time studies, method studies, and work measurement for SMT processes (Screen Printing, Pick & Place, Reflow, AOI, ICT, Functional Testing, etc.).
- AOI Programming specially for Fuzi Machine and Panasonic Machine
- Solder Paste Printer Programming Knowledge specially for Fuzi Machine and Panasonic Machine.
- Prepare and maintain line balancing charts for maximum efficiency.
- Plan and optimize manpower requirements per shift and per line.
2. Process Optimization & Layout Planning
- Design and implement optimal shopfloor layouts for SMT lines, ensuring smooth material flow and minimal handling.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives (Kaizen, Lean, Six Sigma) to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
- Support new product introduction (NPI) from an IE perspective – capacity study, tooling/jig design support, and SOP creation
3. Productivity & Cost Improvements
- Monitor KPIs such as OEE, UPH (Units per Hour), and cycle time for SMT lines
- Identify cost-reduction opportunities in processes, consumables, and manpower allocation.
- Evaluate SMT equipment utilization and propose upgrades/replacements where necessary.
4. Industrial Engineering Documentation
- Prepare and update work instructions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and visual aids for SMT operations.
- Maintain and control IE documentation for audits (ISO, IATF, customer audits).
- Conduct ergonomic assessments for operators and propose improvements.
