Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and skilled AutoCAD Designer to create accurate technical drawings and layouts based on project requirements. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of AutoCAD software, excellent drafting skills, and the ability to work closely with architects, engineers, and project teams to ensure timely project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD.
- Develop technical drawings, layouts, plans, elevations, and sections as per project requirements.
- Revise and modify drawings based on feedback from architects, engineers, or project managers.
- Ensure all drawings comply with applicable standards, specifications, and company guidelines.
- Coordinate with internal teams to understand design requirements and project timelines.
- Maintain proper documentation and organize drawing files for future reference.
- Conduct site measurements whenever required to ensure drawing accuracy.
- Assist in preparing BOQs and technical documentation, if required.
- Ensure timely completion of assigned drafting work while maintaining high quality standards.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Certification in AutoCAD is preferred.
Experience
- 2–5 years of relevant experience as an AutoCAD Designer/Drafter.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D & 3D).
- Knowledge of drafting standards and technical drawings.
- Understanding of construction, architectural, or engineering drawings.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Knowledge of MS Office. Experience with SketchUp, Revit, or other design software will be an added advantage.
