Job Description – Senior HR Executive

Role Purpose
The Senior HR Executive will be responsible for managing end-to-end payroll processing, statutory compliance, and recruitment activities. The role requires ensuring accurate payroll execution, adherence to labor laws, timely statutory filings, and efficient talent acquisition to support the organization's business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Payroll Management
- Manage end-to-end monthly payroll processing with accuracy and timeliness.
- Verify attendance, leave records, incentives, reimbursements, and payroll deductions.
- Coordinate with Finance for timely salary processing and full & final settlements.
- Generate payroll reports and maintain payroll records.
Statutory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws and statutory regulations.
- Manage PF, ESI, Professional Tax (PT), TDS, Labour Welfare Fund (LWF), and other statutory compliances.
- Prepare and file statutory returns within prescribed timelines.
- Maintain statutory registers, employee records, and compliance documentation.
- Support internal and external audits related to payroll and statutory compliance.
Talent Acquisition
- Handle end-to-end recruitment for corporate and field positions.
- Source candidates through job portals, employee referrals, social media, consultants, and other hiring channels.
- Screen resumes, coordinate interviews, and facilitate the selection process.
- Manage offer rollouts, pre-joining formalities, onboarding, and employee induction.
- Build and maintain a talent pipeline to support ongoing business hiring needs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related discipline.
- MBA/PGDM in Human Resources or an equivalent qualification is preferred.
Experience
- 2-7 years of experience in Payroll, Statutory Compliance, and Recruitment.
- Experience working with HRMS and payroll software.
- Prior experience in FMCG, Retail, Logistics, E-commerce, Supply Chain, or Startup environments will be an advantage.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of payroll processing and labor law compliance.
- Good understanding of PF, ESI, PT, TDS, and other statutory regulations.
- Hands-on experience in end-to-end recruitment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and HRMS/payroll systems.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities.
