Vihara by CMK is seeking a dynamic and experienced *Operations Manager* with a strong Food & Beverage (F&B) background to oversee the day-to-day operations of our hospitality property. The ideal candidate will ensure exceptional guest experiences, operational efficiency, financial performance, and team excellence while maintaining the highest standards of service, quality, and compliance.
The Operations Manager will lead cross-functional teams across F&B, front office, housekeeping, maintenance, and guest services to deliver a seamless and memorable experience aligned with the Vihara by CMK brand.
## Key Responsibilities
### Operations Management
* Oversee daily operations across all departments to ensure smooth and efficient functioning.
* Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to enhance operational excellence.
* Monitor service quality and ensure adherence to brand standards.
* Coordinate with department heads to optimize productivity and guest satisfaction.
* Handle guest concerns and resolve operational issues promptly.
### Food & Beverage Operations
* Manage all restaurant, café, banquet, and room service operations.
* Ensure consistent food quality, presentation, hygiene, and service standards.
* Work closely with the Executive Chef to design seasonal menus and promotional offerings.
* Monitor food and beverage costs, inventory, wastage, and procurement.
* Drive revenue through innovative dining experiences and upselling initiatives.
### Team Leadership
* Recruit, train, mentor, and evaluate department managers and staff.
* Foster a positive, performance-driven workplace culture.
* Conduct regular team meetings, performance reviews, and training sessions.
* Ensure staff scheduling aligns with business needs while maintaining labor cost efficiency.
### Financial Management
* Prepare and manage departmental budgets.
* Monitor daily revenue, expenses, and operational KPIs.
* Identify opportunities to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
* Analyze sales trends and implement strategies to maximize revenue.
### Guest Experience
* Ensure exceptional guest service at every touchpoint.
* Monitor guest feedback across online review platforms and internal surveys.
* Develop action plans to improve guest satisfaction and loyalty.
* Build relationships with corporate clients, travel partners, and repeat guests.
### Compliance & Safety
* Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, health and hygiene standards, and statutory requirements.
* Maintain HACCP/FSSAI standards and workplace safety protocols.
* Conduct regular audits and implement corrective actions where required.
### Inventory & Procurement
* Oversee procurement of operational supplies and F&B inventory.
* Implement inventory control measures to minimize wastage.
* Coordinate with vendors to ensure quality, timely deliveries, and cost efficiency.
### Business Development
* Support marketing initiatives and promotional campaigns.
* Identify opportunities for events, private dining, and partnerships.
* Assist in developing strategies to increase occupancy and F&B revenue.
## Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
* Master's degree is an advantage.
## Experience
* *5–8+ years* of progressive experience in hospitality operations.
* Minimum *3 years in a managerial role* overseeing F&B operations.
* Experience in luxury resorts, boutique hotels, premium restaurants, wellness retreats, or hospitality brands preferred.
