ICRISAT is seeking a highly motivated finance professional to join its Global Finance team as Associate Manager / Manager - Treasury, Project Finance & Business Partnering. This role combines treasury operations, project finance management, donor compliance, financial planning, business partnering, and risk management to support the Institute's global research and development portfolio.
The successful candidate will partner with research leaders, project teams, donors, banks, and institutional stakeholders to ensure effective financial stewardship, compliance, cash management, and informed decision-making across ICRISAT's operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage treasury operations, cash flow forecasting, liquidity planning, banking relationships, and foreign exchange exposures.
- Support investment management and ensure compliance with treasury policies and applicable regulations.
- Lead financial management of donor-funded projects from proposal development through implementation and closure.
- Partner with research programs and institutional functions to provide financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and decision support.
- Ensure compliance with donor agreements, CGIAR requirements, and institutional policies.
- Monitor project financial performance, cost recovery, funding utilization, and financial risks.
- Prepare management dashboards, treasury reports, donor financial reports, and portfolio analyses.
- Support audits, internal controls, risk management initiatives, and continuous process improvements.
- Contribute to finance transformation, automation, and ERP optimization initiatives.
- Build strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, including donors, banks, auditors, and research leaders.
Qualifications & Experience
- Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Business Administration, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Professional qualification such as CA, CPA, ACCA, CMA, CFA, or equivalent preferred.
- 8-12 years of relevant experience in treasury, project finance, grants management, financial planning & analysis, or finance business partnering.
- Experience working with donor-funded projects, international organizations, NGOs, CGIAR Centers, research institutions, or multinational organizations is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, treasury operations, donor compliance, financial reporting, and risk management.
- Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP, Workday, Unit4, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar platforms.
- Excellent analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
Pay: ₹748,922.47 - ₹2,236,381.15 per year
