Job Summary
The IT Infrastructure Business Development Officer is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, generating leads, and driving revenue growth for IT infrastructure solutions such as networking, cloud services, servers, storage, cybersecurity, and managed services. This role involves client acquisition, relationship management, and working closely with technical teams to deliver customized solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in IT infrastructure services
- Generate leads through cold calling, networking, referrals, and digital platforms
- Meet clients to understand their IT infrastructure needs (servers, networking, cloud, security, etc.)
- Present and pitch IT solutions tailored to client requirements
- Prepare proposals, quotations, and RFP/RFI responses
- Negotiate contracts and close deals to achieve sales targets
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships
- Coordinate with technical/pre-sales teams for solution design and delivery
- Track market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs
- Maintain accurate records in CRM systems

Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure and enterprise solutions
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills

- Lead generation and client acquisition expertise

- Self-motivated with a target-driven approach
- Basic knowledge of CRM tools and MS Office
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, or related field
- 0–6 years of experience in IT sales / infrastructure solutions / B2B sales
- Experience in system integrator companies, MSPs, or IT solution providers is a plus
