Job Title: Deputy Manager
Position Summary
We are looking for a dynamic and analytical Finance Analyst to support the Finance
function by providing meaningful financial insights, performance analysis, and decision
support to the business. The role involves analyzing financial and operational data,
preparing management reports, supporting financial planning activities, and partnering
with cross-functional teams to drive business performance in a manufacturing
environment.
Key Responsibilities
Perform financial and operational analysis to support business decision-making
and improve organizational performance.
Prepare periodic MIS reports and management presentations.
Support budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and variance analysis
activities.
Analyze key financial areas, including working capital, inventory, cash flow,
payables, receivables, capital expenditure, fixed assets, and profitability, based
on evolving business requirements.
Identify trends, risks, and opportunities through data analysis and recommend
appropriate actions.
Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement, and other business
functions to provide financial insights and support strategic initiatives.
Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data and reports.
Support month-end and year-end closing activities by providing analytical inputs
and reconciliations.
Assist in process improvements, reporting automation, and enhancement of
financial controls.
Undertake ad hoc financial analyses and projects as required by management.
Required Skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret financial
and operational data.
Sound knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and business
analysis.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems
(QAD,SAP, etc.) is preferred.
Knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, or similar data visualization tools is an added
advantage.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
Preferred Experience
CA with 4 years of post-qualification experience in a finance or business analysis
role within a manufacturing environment.
Experience in financial reporting, business partnering, budgeting, forecasting, or
performance analysis.
