ASYVA InfoTech is looking for an experienced Data Architect with strong expertise in GCP, BigQuery, SQL, DBT, data modelling, and enterprise-scale ELT architectures.
Experience: 6–8 Years
Shift Timing: 1:00 PM–9:00 PM IST

About the Role
The Data Architect will support the Procurement Services – Data & Strategy team by assessing the existing data landscape, identifying architectural gaps, and designing scalable data solutions.
The ideal candidate should be able to connect business requirements with technical architecture and collaborate effectively with data engineering, BI, analytics, and functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
✅ Assess the existing procurement data architecture and identify gaps, risks, and inefficiencies.
✅ Design and recommend scalable data models aligned with procurement analytics and reporting requirements.
✅ Guide data engineering teams in implementing architectural changes and improving data pipelines.
✅ Collaborate with BI developers and business stakeholders to understand data consumption and reporting needs.
✅ Develop an end-to-end architectural view of the procurement data ecosystem.
✅ Ensure alignment between data architecture, business objectives, governance, quality, and long-term strategy.
✅ Translate complex business requirements into scalable and efficient data architecture solutions.
Required Technical Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform, particularly GCP Data Lakes
- Advanced knowledge of BigQuery and SQL
- Experience with DBT – Data Build Tool for modular SQL-based data transformations
- Strong understanding of enterprise-scale ETL/ELT architectures and data pipelines
- Expertise in data modelling, including normalization, dimensional modelling, star schemas, and snowflake schemas
- Experience assessing and improving data quality, lineage, governance, and metadata management
- Ability to design scalable architectures for analytics, reporting, and business intelligence
Preferred Skills
- Previous experience in procurement or supply chain analytics
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills
- Ability to collaborate with both technical and functional teams
- Strategic thinking with the ability to balance technical depth and business context
