Senior Audio Electronics Repair Technician
Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Audio Electronics Repair Technician to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair premium consumer and professional audio equipment. The role involves working on amplifiers, AV receivers, speakers, soundbars, wireless audio systems, subwoofers, music systems, and other electronic audio products.
The ideal candidate has strong fault-finding skills, works independently, and is committed to high-quality repairs rather than simple component replacement.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose faults at component and circuit level.
- Repair amplifiers, AV receivers, soundbars, speakers, subwoofers, wireless audio systems, and music systems.
- Perform soldering, desoldering, and PCB repair.
- Replace defective electronic components such as ICs, transistors, capacitors, resistors, relays, and power devices.
- Use multimeters, oscilloscopes, signal generators, and other diagnostic equipment.
- Test repaired products thoroughly before delivery.
- Document faults, repairs performed, and parts replaced.
- Maintain a clean and organized repair bench.
- Meet repair turnaround targets while maintaining quality standards.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience repairing audio electronics.
- Strong understanding of analog and digital electronics.
- Ability to read circuit diagrams and service manuals.
- Experience troubleshooting SMPS, amplifier circuits, power supplies, DSP boards, HDMI boards, and Bluetooth/Wi-Fi modules.
- Excellent soldering and micro-soldering skills.
- Familiarity with ESD-safe repair practices.
- Ability to diagnose faults without relying solely on board replacement.
- Positive attitude, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.
Preferred Skills
- Experience repairing imported or premium audio equipment.
- Knowledge of Class AB and Class D amplifier circuits.
- Experience with firmware updates and software diagnostics.
- Basic computer skills for service documentation.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
