Program Management Coordination
- Lead end-to-end project management – planning, implementation, monitoring and reporting - for assigned WASH projects.
- Develop and track detailed work plans, milestones, and deliverable schedules in line with contractual obligations.
- Coordinate with core team experts and field coordinators to ensure integrated, on-time delivery.
- Manage day-to-day liaison with government counterparts and donor/client project management units.
- Organize and facilitate inception meetings, review meetings, etc. with clients.
Technical Oversight and Skills
- Provide technical guidance for preparation of various documents for water supply and sanitation.
- Review and quality-assure key deliverables as per project requirements
- Guide field teams on implementation of community engagement and behaviour change activities, ensuring adherence to planned methodologies.
- Expertise in preparation of
- Action plans, strategy documents. monitoring frameworks, and progress reports, case studies, etc.
- technical and non-technical assessment reports, concept notes, summaries
- presentations, knowledge management documents
- Training packages, training modules, schedules, outlines
- Experience in community mobilization; understanding of ground needs, systems, processes, institutions; effective communication skills
B.E. / B.Tech/ M.E/ M.Tech in Civil or Environmental Engineering/ MSW/ Postgraduate degree in Public Policy/ Governance/ Development Studies or any other related field
- Strong project planning and coordination skills with ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Hindi
- High attention to detail in reviewing technical documents, proposals, and reports.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and adapt to evolving program needs.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with project management tools is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills for working with government officials and community stakeholders.
- Willingness to undertake frequent field travel (30–40% of time) to project districts.
