Job Title: House Maid

Job Summary:
We are looking for an efficient and detail-oriented maid to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring our guest rooms, public areas, and offices are clean and orderly. The maid will be required to perform routine cleaning and maintenance tasks to maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation throughout the hotel.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Clean, dust and vacuum rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways and other work areas so that health standards are met.
- Change bed linens, make beds, clean and iron clothes.
- Replenish supplies, such as drinking glasses, linens, writing supplies, and bathroom items.
- Sort clothing and other articles, load washing machines, and iron and fold dried items.
- Disinfect equipment and supplies, using germicides or steam-operated sterilizers.
- Polish silver accessories and metalwork, such as fixtures and fittings.
- Sweep, scrub, wax, or polish floors, using brooms, mops, or powered scrubbing and waxing machines.
- Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies, using vacuum cleaners and shampooers.
- Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas so that health standards are met.
- Notify managers concerning the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems.
- Report lost and found articles, and identify and report damages or maintenance needs of the hotel rooms and public areas.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1-year experience in hotel housekeeping or a similar position.
- Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and have a positive attitude.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to stand for long periods and be able to perform physical tasks.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper storage, and disposal methods.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions.
- Must be able to speak and understand English fluently.
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment, such as vacuum cleaners, floor buffers, and carpet cleaning equipment.

Salary:
The average salary for a maid is 10,000 to 15, 000 Actual salary may vary depending on experience, location, and job responsibilities.
