The Sales Coordinator is responsible for supporting the sales team by coordinating daily sales operations, managing customer communications, maintaining sales records, preparing reports, and ensuring smooth execution of the sales process. The role acts as a bridge between the sales team, customers, and internal departments to improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily sales activities and support the sales team.
- Prepare quotations, proposals, and sales documentation.
- Process customer orders and ensure timely execution.
- Maintain accurate customer and sales data in the CRM/ERP system.
- Track sales orders from initiation to delivery.
- Coordinate with Finance, Operations, Logistics, and Customer Support teams.
- Monitor order status and proactively communicate updates to customers.
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
- Assist in sales forecasting and pipeline tracking.
- Schedule meetings, follow-ups, and customer appointments.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve routine issues promptly.
- Maintain documentation related to contracts, pricing, and purchase orders.
- Support tender documentation and bid submissions, where applicable.
- Ensure compliance with company sales processes and policies.
- Identify opportunities to improve sales coordination and operational efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Marketing, or a related field.
- 0-1 years of experience in Sales Coordination, Sales Support, or Sales Operations.
- Experience working with CRM or ERP systems is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
