As a Manager, Software Engineering within the Web Development group, you will be responsible for leading the execution of complex backend and frontend features using modern edge technologies. In this role, you will…
- Innovate and contribute to the design of robust, scalable, and flexible web solutions for Align Web and Scanner products, using modern technologies such as Angular and React.
- Lead a high-performing team of full‑stack developers, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of cutting‑edge applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate features across different disciplines and functional areas.
- Mentor and guide your team by managing their career development, providing both technical and motivational support.
- Design, develop, and deliver high‑quality web applications for the digital dentistry ecosystem.
- Promote a culture of engineering excellence by teaching, learning, recommending, and implementing standardized, high‑quality code practices.
- Operate autonomously—proactively suggesting improvements, initiating activities, and contributing to system and product enhancements.
- Participate actively in the hiring process to evaluate and select strong engineering talent.
In this role, you’ll need …
- 10+ years of software development experience.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience as a Software Engineering Manager, with proven people‑leadership skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with .NET Core, .NET, and ASP.NET MVC.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and modern web technologies.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps-oriented workflows.
- Proven experience with at least one modern web framework/library: Angular, React, or Vue.js.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
- Ability to manage and influence highly skilled, senior technical engineers.
- Strong capability in planning and structuring complex software development activities.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and monitor teams to meet commitments.
- Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, organized, and able to work independently.
- Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
