Job Title: Laravel Senior Architect
Location: Ahmedabad/Pune

We are looking for a Laravel Senior Architect who can design, scale, and govern enterprise-grade PHP/Laravel applications. This role requires deep technical expertise, architectural thinking, and the ability to guide engineering teams while working closely with business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Architecture & System Design
- Design scalable, secure, and high-performance architectures using Laravel
- Define application architecture, coding standards, and best practices
- Architect RESTful APIs, microservices, and event-driven systems
- Make architectural decisions around monolith vs microservices
- Ensure system scalability, availability, and fault tolerance
Technical Leadership
- Provide hands-on technical leadership and mentorship to developers
- Review code and ensure adherence to architectural standards
- Guide teams on Laravel framework internals, performance tuning, and security
- Lead technical discussions, design reviews, and POCs
Backend & Integration
- Build and optimize backend services using Laravel, PHP 8+
- Design and manage database architectures (MySQL, PostgreSQL, NoSQL)
- Implement caching, queues, background jobs, and asynchronous processing
- Integrate third-party services, APIs, payment gateways, and external systems
DevOps, Cloud & Performance
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipelines
- Architect deployments on AWS / Azure / GCP
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions
- Optimize application performance and cost efficiency
Security & Compliance
- Enforce secure coding practices and data protection standards
- Handle authentication, authorization, and role-based access control
- Ensure compliance with security standards (OWASP, GDPR where applicable)
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 8–15+ years of backend development experience
- 5+ years of deep hands-on experience with Laravel
- Expert-level PHP knowledge (PHP 8+)
- Strong experience designing enterprise architectures
- Expertise in REST APIs, microservices, and scalable systems
- Strong understanding of database design and optimization
- Experience with Redis, queues, caching, and background jobs
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
Nice to Have
- Experience with Vue.js / React for full-stack oversight
- Experience with Docker & Kubernetes
- Knowledge of event-driven architecture
- Prior experience as Tech Lead / Solution Architect
- Exposure to SaaS or multi-tenant architectures
Job Type: Contractual / Temporary

Pay: ₹69,585.59 - ₹98,729.33 per month
