We are looking for an enthusiastic and responsible Captain for our restaurant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for managing the overall day-to-day operations at the restaurant
- Monitoring & ensuring operations run smoothly.
- Organizing the duty roster of service staff.
- Come up with innovative ideas for generating targeted sales and menu planning.
- To implement food and beverage service standards and follow the standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Supervise and guide service staff during shifts.
- Take and confirm orders accurately, ensuring smooth coordination with the kitchen and bar.
- Check food and beverage quality before serving.
- Handle guest complaints politely and resolve them quickly.
- Train and motivate the service team.
- Ensure bills are accurate and handle payments when required.
Skills & Qualities Needed:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a fine-dining restaurant as a Captain.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Polite, presentable, and customer-focused.
- Strong sense of responsibility, teamwork, and willingness to learn.
- Good knowledge of food, wines, and service etiquette.
- Ability to stay calm and professional under pressure.
- Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
