Student Counsellor – Role
A Student Counsellor is responsible for guiding students through the overseas education process, understanding their career goals, recommending suitable study options, and assisting them from the initial counselling stage until admission and visa processing.
Key Responsibilities
- Student Counselling
- Understand students' academic background, interests, and career goals.
- Provide guidance on suitable countries, universities, and courses.
- Explain admission requirements, tuition fees, scholarships, and living costs.
- University & Course Selection
- Recommend suitable universities and programs based on the student's profile.
- Compare different study destinations and course options.
- Help students make informed decisions.
- Application Support
- Assist students with university applications.
- Check academic documents and application details.
- Coordinate with universities regarding applications and offers.
- Follow-up
- Regularly follow up with students regarding pending documents and application status.
- Maintain accurate student records in the CRM.
- Keep students updated about important deadlines.
- Admission & Visa Coordination
- Explain the admission and visa process to students.
- Coordinate with the documentation and visa teams.
- Ensure students complete required steps on time.
- Student Relationship Management
- Maintain professional communication with students and parents.
- Answer student queries through phone, WhatsApp, email, or in person.
- Build trust and maintain long-term relationships.
- Target & Conversion
- Follow up with leads and convert prospective students into applicants.
- Achieve monthly counselling and admission targets.
- Maintain proper records of leads, applications, and conversions.
Pay: From ₹11,170.03 per month
