Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and maintenance of Python-based applications.
- Collaborate with the development team to understand requirements and implement new features.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable Python code following best development practices.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues.
- Develop and integrate APIs for application functionality.
- Work with databases to store, retrieve, and manage application data.
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and team meetings.
- Perform testing to ensure application performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Stay updated with the latest Python frameworks, tools, and development practices.
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of Python programming concepts.
- Knowledge of object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts.
- Familiarity with Python frameworks such as Django or Flask.
- Basic understanding of RESTful APIs and JSON handling.
- Knowledge of databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
- Understanding of Git/GitHub version control.
- Good debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience with academic, personal, or freelance Python projects is a plus.
- Familiarity with web development concepts and backend architecture.
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle and coding best practices.
