Job Description: Project Manager
The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of water treatment projects, from planning to execution, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and meet the quality standards and client expectations. The role involves collaborating with various internal teams, including sales, design, procurement and execution teams, to ensure the seamless delivery of the project.
Key Responsibilities:
Site Status and Work Updates:

Obtain daily work updates from the execution team to ensure project milestones are being met.

Regularly monitor and track project progress based on Bar chart & P&ID, ensuring all tasks are on schedule and any delays are promptly addressed.

Conduct the first site visit alongside the respective salesperson to understand project requirements and client expectations.

Develop strong relationships with clients' engineers and site in-charge, regularly meeting with them to address concerns and maintain rapport & coordinating between Service, Sales & Clients on Time.
Project Drawings and Quality Checks:

Review and check all project drawings, ensuring they align with the client's specifications and project requirements.

Conduct quality checks on products and installations to ensure they meet industry standards and client expectations which includes civil work, drawing Perfection, Plant Dressing & Ensuring P&ID in A1 Size at each site.
Capture Client Expectations and Timelines:

Work closely with the sales department to capture client expectations, project commitments, and timelines.

Ensure that these requirements are properly documented and communicated to the execution team.

Serve as the primary point of contact for all project-related queries from the client.

Respond promptly and effectively to any project-related concerns or requests, ensuring a high level of client satisfaction.

Communicate with the client’s civil work team to ensure the installation process is not delayed due to civil work.

Address and resolve any civil-related concerns, ensuring smooth coordination during installation.
Work Order and BOQ:

Check the work order and understand the Bill of Quantities (BOQ) after completing the design drawings.

Collaborate with the purchase team to prepare a final BOQ for supply items and ensure it aligns with project specifications.
Engineering Optimization:

Identify opportunities for cost-effective engineering solutions, optimizing designs and processes to minimize costs without compromising quality.

Collaborate with the design team to ensure continuous improvement in engineering practices.
Technician Training and Guidance:

Provide proper guidance and training to technicians on installation procedures and new updates, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills.

Organize monthly training sessions for technicians to ensure the successful implementation of project tasks.
Project Planning and Forecasting:

Develop detailed project plans, including forecasting billing milestones on a monthly and quarterly basis.

Work closely with finance teams to ensure that the project is aligned with the financial projections and timelines.
Manpower Planning and Updates:

Plan the deployment of technicians and workforce based on project needs, providing updates at the end of each week.

Maintain a daily manpower update report, ensuring adequate resources are available for all project tasks.
Project Tracking and Reporting:

Maintain project update sheets and bar charts to ensure timely project completion, monitoring progress against deadlines.

Track project milestones and report regularly to senior management and stakeholders to keep them informed of progress.
Quality Assurance and Installation Improvement:

Perform timely quality checks throughout the installation process, identifying areas for improvement and taking corrective actions as necessary.

Work towards continuous improvement in installation processes, ensuring higher efficiency and quality.

Must Ensure that there is no repetition of work due to any reason.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Master Skills:

Project Management: Strong understanding of project planning, execution, and delivery within the water treatment industry.

Water Treatment Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of water treatment processes, equipment, and industry best practices.
Software Operating Skills:

AutoCAD 2D/3D: Proficient in using AutoCAD for drawing review, modification, and analysis.

MS Office: Strong command of MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for reporting, data analysis, and project management.
