Designation : Head - Master Data Management
Reporting To : Head – Business IT
Role Purpose : Ensure smooth and seamless functioning of business and MDM processes
Key Responsibilities:
- Structure the business hierarchies, drives the process of creation products and services masters
- Define best practices in MDM processes (Listing, De-listing, Article creation, article master templates, validation and process checks before processing, article creation, EAN generation etc)
- Propose automation solution of repetitive processes
- Work with connected Business Functions to suggest process improvements
- Develop MDM processes to enable quick and effective responses
- Meet the SLAs for MDM activities
- Explain/validate MDM processes and feedback to other functions
- Maintain efficiency in tasks and identify process improvements
- Enforce Excise Duty and Weights & Measures regulations compliant Master Data in the system
- Maintain assortment sizes and solve issues that affects positively
- Generate periodic reports on various parameters to measure the health of MDM practices and support services
- Be abreast of global best practices in MDM
Key Skills:
- IS Retail Master Data Expertise
- Extreme Excel capabilities
- SAP knowledge relevant to work
- Retail domain knowledge – preferable Apparel
People / Learning & Growth:
- Train the team in existing and new processes
- Be an advisor for new business requirements and changes required
- Keep abreast of the latest changes in MDM processes
Qualification : BCOM, MCOM, ICWAI certified preferable
Work Experience: 7 - 10 Years retail experience
