What you will do
Amgen is seeking a Workday Time & Absence Analyst who will provide overall support for Amgen’s Workday system with a focus on the Time and Absence modules for Ex-US. The Workday Time & Absence Analyst will contribute to the delivery of high quality and timely service to cross-functional organizations. As part of the Time and Absence product team, the Workday Time & Absence Analyst will support implementation of system configuration updates while contributing to HR Technology Release planning, analysis, and deployment
Key Activities for the Workday Time & Absence Analyst include:

Serve as the key Workday configuration expert for time tracking and absence module for all countries outside of the US.

Collaborate with HR, payroll, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into system configurations and workflows related to time tracking, scheduling, and absence management.

Conduct system testing and validation activities for Workday updates and enhancements related to time and absence functionality, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Responsible for successful implementation of new functionality and/or processes within project timelines.

Contribute to research, evaluation, planning, design, and deploying technology-related HR initiatives.

Support other functional areas such as Core HCM, Recruitment, and Talent/Performance as necessary.

Work with HR Technology service provider for complex project implementations.

Apply Amgen’s Information Security and Privacy policies, standards, and processes to ensure the confidentiality and integrity of our HR data.

Assist in development of training materials and partner in change management efforts and organizational readiness.

Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to time and absence management and Workday functionality.
Required Qualifications

4+ years of experience with Workday Configuration within the Time Tracking/Absence modules, Workday Reporting, and Business Process administration.

Demonstrated success in managing projects related to HR Technology in a fast-paced, Agile Environment.

Proficient in implementing new HR Technology solutions, optimizing business processes, and improving workflow efficiency.

Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Track record of delivering successful outcomes in both HR and IT environments, with a focus on enhancing the overall user experience.
