Role Description This is a Part-time, on-site Dermatologist role based in Kochi. The Dermatologist will diagnose and manage a wide range of skin conditions, provide acne and cosmetic dermatology treatments, and perform minor dermatologic procedures as appropriate. Daily responsibilities include conducting consultations, developing treatment plans, prescribing medications, and monitoring patient progress. The role involves collaborating with cosmetology professionals to align medical and aesthetic care, educating patients on skincare and preventive measures, and maintaining accurate medical records. The Dermatologist is expected to follow clinic protocols, uphold high standards of safety and hygiene, and participate in continuous professional development.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Medicine and Dermatology, with the ability to diagnose and treat common and complex skin conditions.
- Clinical expertise in Cosmetic Dermatology and Cosmetology, including aesthetic procedures aligned with best practices.
- Specific experience in managing Acne and related skin disorders, with a focus on personalized treatment plans.
- Recognized medical degree (MBBS) and completed specialization in Dermatology (MD/DVD or equivalent), with valid medical registration.
- Demonstrated commitment to ethical practice, patient confidentiality, and evidence-based care.
- Effective communication and counseling skills, with the ability to explain treatment options and risks clearly.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team and maintain a professional, inclusive, and respectful environment.
- Prior experience in a dermatology clinic or cosmetology center is an advantage; familiarity with lasers, peels, and other aesthetic technologies is beneficial.
