A video editor transforms raw, unedited footage into a cohesive, polished final product. They collaborate with directors and creative teams to curate shots, edit audio, apply visual effects, and maintain narrative flow across films, TV shows, corporate content, or social media.
Core Responsibilities
· Footage Assembly: Review, trim, and arrange raw footage into a logical, engaging sequence that matches the project's vision and script.
· Audio Enhancement: Sync, edit, and mix audio tracks, including dialogue, background noise removal, sound effects, and background music.
· Visual Enhancements: Perform color correction, color grading, and add text overlays, subtitles, motion graphics, to improve visual quality.
· Quality Assurance: Maintain visual continuity and pacing while carefully screening the final cuts for any errors before final delivery.
· Platform Optimization: Reformat and tailor final video files to fit specific distribution channels, such as YouTube, Instagram ,Facebook or internal company portals.
· Collaboration: Work alongside producers, directors, and marketing teams to refine video concepts and execute requested revisions.
Key Skills & Requirements
· Software Proficiency: Expert knowledge of industry-standard editing platforms, including DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects.
· Storytelling: A strong eye for pacing, rhythm, and emotional beats to ensure the final narrative is compelling.
· Technical Aptitude: Understanding of video codecs, resolution standards, and computer hardware optimization.
· Time Management: Ability to manage multiple projects, handle digital assets, and meet strict, sometimes fast-paced, deadlines.
· Attention to Detail: The patience to make minute, frame-by-frame adjustments.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
