Job Summary
The Oxygen Plant Technician is responsible for the efficient operation, monitoring, and maintenance of the hospital’s medical oxygen generation and supply systems. The role ensures continuous, safe, and compliant oxygen production to support critical medical services.
Key Responsibilities1. Plant Operation & Monitoring
- Operate and monitor PSA-based Medical Oxygen Generation Plant or other oxygen supply systems.
- Ensure continuous production and maintain required oxygen purity, pressure, and flow levels.
- Record operational parameters, daily production logs, and maintain accurate documentation.
2. Maintenance & Troubleshooting
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on compressors, dryers, filters, tanks, valves, and associated equipment.
- Identify and troubleshoot mechanical or electrical issues to minimize downtime.
- Ensure timely servicing and calibration of plant components.
3. Safety & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with medical gas safety standards and hospital protocols.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety around the plant area, ensuring no contamination risks.
- Adhere to fire safety, electrical safety, and pressure equipment regulations.
4. Coordination & Reporting
- Coordinate with biomedical and maintenance teams for smooth functioning of medical gas pipelines.
- Report breakdowns, performance issues, or deviations in oxygen purity immediately to supervisors.
- Maintain stock of spare parts, filters, lubricants, and other essential consumables.
5. Emergency Response
- Provide prompt support during oxygen supply emergencies or equipment breakdowns.
- Assist in switch-over to backup cylinders or manifold systems when required.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
