About The Bharat Perspective
The Bharat Perspective is being developed as a knowledge-driven media and public affairs platform focused on presenting a deeper, balanced and informed perspective on India.
The platform aims to bring together journalists, former bureaucrats, policymakers, advocates, Chartered Accountants, doctors, academics, lecturers, researchers, industry professionals, civil society representatives and students preparing for UPSC and other competitive examinations.
Our objective is to build a credible ecosystem where experienced professionals and emerging voices can contribute their knowledge, perspectives and expertise on issues concerning India's governance, economy, law, public policy, society, education, healthcare, technology, infrastructure, business and national development.
Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced and highly connected Senior Editor – Public Policy & Knowledge Network who will play a foundational role in building the editorial and expert-network ecosystem of The Bharat Perspective.
The ideal candidate should have a strong background in journalism and a deep understanding of Indian current affairs, governance, public policy, politics, administration, economy and social issues.
This is not merely a content-writing position.
The selected professional will be responsible for:
- Developing the editorial framework of The Bharat Perspective.
- Establishing the platform's content and research architecture.
- Building a strong network of experts and contributors.
- Identifying and onboarding former bureaucrats and policymakers.
- Connecting with working professionals such as advocates, CAs, doctors, lecturers, researchers and industry professionals.
- Building a community of UPSC aspirants and young researchers.
- Developing credible sources and expert contributors across different sectors.
- Creating interview, opinion, analysis and knowledge-based content.
- Establishing the editorial standards, processes and guidelines of the platform.
- Helping position The Bharat Perspective as a credible India-focused knowledge and public affairs platform.
