Job Title: Associate Digital Engineer
Experience: 2–5 Years
Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and test computing systems and applications across PLM environments to support integration of new technologies and migration from legacy systems. Perform CAD modelling and testing using CATIA V5/V6 and 3DExperience, create technical documentation, support PLM implementation activities, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver engineering solutions. Work on various CATIA workbenches including Part Modelling, Surface Design, Assembly, Sheet Metal, Relational Modelling, and Functional Tolerance and Annotation. Participate in design reviews, reporting activities, and support product development processes while ensuring adherence to mechanical design standards and best practices.
Key Skills: Strong expertise in CATIA V5/V6 and 3DExperience platforms with hands-on experience in CAD modelling and mechanical design. Candidates should possess knowledge of GD&T, engineering principles, materials, manufacturing processes, and various CATIA workbenches. Experience with technical documentation, PLM processes, DMU and tolerance stack-up analysis, standard parts and fastener modelling, and Application Lifecycle Management tools such as ADO or Jira is preferred. Familiarity with aerospace materials, aerospace fastener standards, Agile/SAFe methodologies, and product development processes is an added advantage. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment are essential.

Key Responsibilities: Perform CAD design and stress analysis activities for engineering components and systems, develop and validate models using CATIA V5/V6 and 3DExperience, support structural analysis using FEA methodologies, collaborate with design and stress engineering teams, prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports, and contribute to product development activities while ensuring adherence to engineering standards and best practices.
Key Skills: Strong experience in CATIA V5/V6 and 3DExperience with hands-on exposure to CAD applications such as CATIA, NX, or SolidWorks. Candidates should possess knowledge of Finite Element Analysis (FEA), stress analysis of structural components, and FMEA principles. Experience with CAE tools such as Nastran and HyperWorks is essential, while knowledge of 3DExperience Simulia Process Composer is an added advantage. Familiarity with CATIA Part Modelling and Assembly workbenches, PLM processes, Application Lifecycle Management tools such as ADO or Jira, and design concepts such as DFM/A is preferred. Exposure to Automotive, Aerospace, or Locomotive product development environments and Agile/SAFe methodologies, along with strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional and virtual teams, are highly desirable.
