We are looking for an experienced Senior Purchase Manager for our Printing & Packaging manufacturing unit. The candidate will be responsible for handling procurement, strategic sourcing, vendor development, negotiation, and timely purchase of raw materials and consumables required for smooth production operations.
Key Responsibilities:
· Handle end-to-end procurement and sourcing activities.
· Source raw materials like paper, duplex board, kraft paper, inks, adhesives, films, chemicals, and packaging consumables.
· Develop and manage vendor relationships.
· Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
· Ensure timely availability of materials for production.
· Monitor inventory levels and control procurement costs.
· Coordinate with production, stores, accounts, and suppliers.
· Maintain purchase records, MIS reports, and compliance documentation.
Required Skills:
· Strong sourcing knowledge in Printing & Packaging industry.
· Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
· Good knowledge of procurement planning and inventory control.
· Strong commercial and market understanding.
· ERP and MS Excel proficiency.
Qualification:
· Graduate in Commerce / Engineering / Supply Chain.
· MBA/PGDM in Materials or Supply Chain preferred.
Experience:
· 8–15 years of experience in Purchase/Procurement.
· Experience in Printing & Packaging manufacturing industry is mandatory.
Salary:
· Salary up to ₹35,000/- per month depending on experience and skills.
Pay: Up to ₹35,000.00 per month
