Blostem is a Startup India-registered fintech infrastructure company founded in October 2021, backed by leading investors including Rainmatter (Zerodha), MobiKwik, AC Ventures, GrowX, and Blue Lotus.
We provide a unified banking SDK and API that enables fintechs and financial institutions across India to embed financial products — such as Fixed Deposits, Recurring Deposits, and more —directly into their apps without building backend infrastructure from scratch.
Our platform drastically reduces time-to-market: partners can go live in 7 days versus the traditional 9–12 months per bank integration. We handle regulatory compliance, bank onboarding, and reconciliation so our partners can focus entirely on user experience.
We serve 30+ platforms including MobiKwik, Upstox, Jupiter, and Zerodha, with partnerships across 10+ banks and NBFCs. We are ISO 27001 certified and operate as a Technical Service Provider under RBI and NPCI regulations with AES-256 encryption for data protection.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Blostem is scaling rapidly and looking for a driven Business Development Intern to support our enterprise growth initiatives. You will work closely with the sales leadership team to identify and engage fintech platforms, NBFCs, banks, and enterprises looking to embed financial products via APIs and SDKs.
This role offers hands-on exposure to B2B sales, embedded finance, enterprise deal cycles, and fintech partnerships. You will engage directly with decision-makers, build pipeline, and help accelerate revenue growth — this is not a back-office role. High performers may be considered for a full-time opportunity.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Client Research & Prospecting: Identify and research potential B2B clients including fintechs, NBFCs, banks, digital platforms, and enterprises looking to embed financial products.
- Outbound Outreach: Support outbound prospecting via LinkedIn, personalised email campaigns, and industry research to build a qualified pipeline.
- Sales Enablement: Help schedule product demos and discovery calls; assist in preparing pitch decks, proposals, and tailored sales materials for target segments.
- Market & Competitive Intelligence: Conduct in-depth competitor and market research in embedded finance and banking-as-a-service (BaaS) to surface product and positioning opportunities.
- CRM & Pipeline Management: Maintain and update the sales pipeline in CRM tools; ensure accurate tracking of leads, conversations, and deal stages.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Liaise with Product and Tech teams to gather integration- related information and support commercial discussions and follow-ups.
- GTM Support: Assist in executing go-to-market activities including ecosystem events, partner webinars, and virtual industry forums.
- Commercial Follow-Ups: Support the team in structuring proposals and following up on commercial conversations with prospects.

REQUIREMENTS
Must-Have
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- Strong interest in fintech, SaaS, or B2B sales with genuine curiosity about how financial infrastructure works.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to engage confidently with founders, product teams, or senior decision-makers.
- Research-oriented mindset with strong attention to detail and ability to synthesise market information effectively.
- Self-driven with a proactive approach; comfortable operating independently in a fast-paced, ambiguous startup environment.
- Comfort working with data — spreadsheets, CRM dashboards, and basic sales analytics.
Good-to-Have
- MBA (Marketing / Finance / Strategy) preferred or in-progress.
- Prior exposure to B2B sales, fintech, SaaS, or startup environments through internships, projects, or side ventures.
- Familiarity with CRM tools such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar.
- Working knowledge of API/SDK-based products or embedded finance concepts is a strong plus.
- Experience using LinkedIn Sales Navigator or outbound prospecting tools.
- Understanding of financial products such as Fixed Deposits, RDs, or lending instruments.
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
