- System Management: Operate and monitor the ETP system, including primary, secondary, and tertiary treatment (e.g., RO, UF, and MEE systems).
- Chemical Dosing: Calculate, control, and administer chemical and nutrient dosing based on real-time wastewater characteristics.
- Parameter Monitoring: Track critical metrics like pH, COD, BOD, TDS, turbidity, and flow rates to ensure efficiency.
2. Compliance & Environmental Safety
- Regulatory Adherence: Ensure 100% compliance with local environmental standards (e.g., NEMA or State Pollution Control Boards) for effluent discharge.
- Reporting: Compile and prepare reports on effluent generation, treatment, and water recovery for management and regulatory agencies.
3. Equipment Maintenance & Troubleshooting
- Preventive Maintenance: Coordinate the routine maintenance and cleaning of pumps, aerators, filters, and valves.
- Malfunction Response: Troubleshoot operational issues and correct process deviations or equipment breakdowns to avoid plant downtime.
4. Quality Assurance & Record Keeping
- Testing: Conduct or coordinate daily sampling and laboratory analysis of inlet and outlet water to assess treatment effectiveness.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate daily logs, chemical consumption records, and ETP operational data.
5. Inventory & Resource Management
- Chemical Stock: Maintain accurate inventory levels of ETP chemicals and manage material procurement.
