Profile Summary :
The Vice President – Finance & Accounts will lead the finance function of the NBFC–MFI, ensuring strong financial governance, regulatory compliance, effective fund management, and strategic financial planning. The role is critical in supporting business growth while maintaining financial discipline, transparency, and risk control in line with RBI and statutory requirements.
Qualifications :
- Inter Chartered Accountant (CA) – Preferred or MBA (Finance) / ICWA
- Minimum 10–12 years of experience, with at least 3–5 years in a senior finance leadership role within an NBFC / MFI / BFSI environment
- Strong exposure to RBI regulations, Ind AS, taxation, audits, and fund management
Key Responsibilities :
Financial Management & Control
- Oversee end-to-end finance and accounts operations, including accounting, budgeting, MIS, and financial reporting
- Ensure timely preparation and finalization of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Maintain robust internal financial controls and processes
Regulatory & Statutory Compliance
- Ensure full compliance with RBI guidelines applicable to NBFC–MFI
- Manage statutory audits, internal audits, concurrent audits, and inspections
- Ensure timely compliance with GST, Income Tax, TDS, PF, ESI, and other statutory obligations
Fund Management & Treasury
- Manage fund raising activities including borrowings from banks, NBFCs, SIDBI, and other institutions
- Manage relationships with BC (Business Correspondent) partners acting as funders, including drawdowns, settlements, reconciliation, reporting, and adherence to agreed financial and compliance terms
- Oversee negotiation, execution, and ongoing management of financial agreements, commercials, and terms with BC partners and other lenders, in coordination with legal, compliance, and senior management
- Oversee cash flow planning, liquidity management, and cost of funds optimization
- Coordinate with lenders, credit rating agencies, and trustees
Strategic Planning & Business Support
- Partner with senior management in strategic decision-making and business planning
- Provide financial insights to support expansion, branch rollout, and new product initiatives
- Monitor profitability, portfolio quality, and operating efficiency
Risk Management & Governance
- Identify financial risks and implement mitigation strategies
- Strengthen governance frameworks and ensure transparency in financial practices
- Support Board and Audit Committee with accurate and timely financial data
Systems & Process Improvement
- Lead implementation and enhancement of financial systems, ERP, and automation initiatives
- Drive process improvements for scalability and efficiency
Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹120,000.00 per month
