We are seeking an individual with strong Test Engineering skills. You will be based in India and will have an active engagement with the hardware and Software Design and Operations teams in Apple.
The qualified candidate will primarily focus on RF test system validation, partnering closely with RF systems and hardware design teams.","responsibilities":"End-to-End Test Ownership: Lead the design, development, and optimization of functional test systems for both motherboards and fully assembled form factor units.Define test strategies, coverage, and specifications to ensure zero-defect escapes.
Factory & Vendor Leadership: Manage test vendor scoping/qualification and drives mass production support, yield improvements, and cycle-time optimization.
Cross-Functional Engineering (EE/ME): Deploy strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills to resolve complex fixture, instrumentation, and station hardware issues. Debug chip level or board level de-sense and EMI issues.Collaborate with RF systems and integration teams on RF board layout, test interface methodology, and programming sequence and RF calibration programming.
Data Analytics & Yield Management: Perform large-volume data analysis on test logs and manufacturing metrics to identify trends, root-cause failures, and anomalies.Qualify and maintain station hardware integrity using GR&R (Gauge Repeatability and Reproducibility), factory audits, and calibration protocols.
Prepare and present concise Test Engineering program status updates to the Exec team on a weekly basis
