JD – Store Executive / Store Engineer

- Receive, inspect, and store raw materials, consumables, and spares as per company procedures.
- Ensure proper material identification, storage, and preservation practices.
- Maintain accurate stock records in ERP systems and physical registers.
- Issue materials to Production and Maintenance departments against authorized indents.
- Monitor inventory levels and initiate replenishment to avoid shortages.
- Conduct periodic stock verification and cycle counting activities.
- Ensure FIFO / FEFO practices are followed for all applicable materials.
- Maintain housekeeping, safety, and 5S standards within the stores area.
- Coordinate with Purchase, PPC, and Production teams for smooth material flow.
- Maintain inward, outward, and inventory documentation for audit compliance.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Maintain inventory accuracy of 98% or above.
- Ensure zero stock-out of critical materials.
- Minimize excess, slow-moving, and obsolete inventory.
- Ensure timely material issuance to support uninterrupted production.
- Achieve compliance with FIFO / FEFO storage practices.
- Maintain audit compliance with zero major non-conformities.
- Ensure timely and accurate system updates and documentation.
Leadership & Team Management
- Demonstrate effective coordination and communication skills.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including Purchase, PPC, and Production.
- Support team activities and maintain discipline within the stores function.
- Ensure high attention to detail and process compliance.
Required Skills
- Hands-on experience in stores and inventory management.
- Knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or equivalent.
- Understanding of inventory control techniques including FIFO, FEFO, and ABC Analysis.
- Familiarity with material handling and storage practices.
- Knowledge of 5S and workplace safety standards.
- Good analytical, reporting, and MS Excel skills.
Qualification & Experience
- Diploma or Any Graduate.
- 2–6 years of experience in Stores / Inventory Management.
- Manufacturing or Automotive industry experience preferred.
Authorities
- Authorized to receive, store, and issue materials as per approved procedures.
- Responsible for maintaining inventory records and ensuring uninterrupted production support.
