We are seeking a talented Power BI Developer to design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and business intelligence solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Power BI, DAX, Power Query, SQL, and data modeling, with the ability to transform complex business requirements into meaningful insights and visualizations.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports.
Gather and understand business requirements from stakeholders and translate them into BI solutions.
Develop efficient data models using Power BI, Power Query, and DAX.
Connect and integrate data from multiple sources including SQL Server, Azure, Excel, SharePoint, APIs, and cloud platforms.
Optimize report performance and ensure scalability of Power BI solutions.
Create reusable datasets, dataflows, and semantic models.
Develop calculated columns, measures, KPIs, and custom visualizations.
Implement Row-Level Security (RLS) and manage workspace permissions.
Publish, manage, and schedule reports in the Power BI Service.
Troubleshoot report issues and provide production support.
Collaborate with business users, analysts, and engineering teams to deliver high-quality reporting solutions.
Ensure data accuracy, governance, and best practices are followed.
Required Skills:
6-12 years of experience in Business Intelligence or Power BI development.
Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service .
Expertise in DAX , Power Query (M Language) , and data modeling.
Strong SQL skills, including writing complex queries, stored procedures, and performance optimization.
Experience with SQL Server , Azure SQL, Synapse, or other relational databases.
Knowledge of ETL concepts and data warehousing.
Experience implementing Row-Level Security (RLS).
Understanding of Power BI Gateway, scheduled refresh, and deployment pipelines.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Skills :
Experience with Azure Data Factory , Azure Synapse , or Microsoft Fabric .
Knowledge of SSIS, SSAS, and SSRS .
Familiarity with Python or R for advanced analytics.
Experience with REST APIs and cloud data sources.
Microsoft Power BI certification (PL-300) is a plus.
Exposure to CI/CD for Power BI deployments.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
Microsoft PL-300 (Power BI Data Analyst Associate) certification is preferred.
