Job Title : HR Executive/ Assitant Manager
Qualification : BBA/MBA in HR management
Job Location : Olpad, Surat,Gujarat
Key Responsibilities
1. Plant HR Operations & Administration
- Manage the complete Employee Life Cycle, including onboarding, induction, attendance tracking, leaves, and exit formalities.
- Oversee daily time-office operations and biometric attendance systems for both permanent staff and contractual workers.
- Coordinate plant administration activities, including canteen management, worker transportation, and uniform/PPE distribution.
2. Statutory Compliance & Labor Laws
- Ensure 100% compliance with all applicable labor laws, including the Factories Act, 1948, Payment of Wages Act, Minimum Wages Act, and Workmen’s Compensation Act.
- Manage timely monthly compliance submissions for EPF, ESIC, and Professional Tax (PT).
- Maintain all statutory registers, forms, and records required for inspections by government authorities.
- Liaison with local government bodies, labor inspectors, and pollution control officials as required.
3. Contract Labor Management
- Monitor and audit contract labor agencies to ensure compliance with the Contract Labour (Regulation & Abolition) Act (CLRA).
- Verify contractor wage sheets, PF/ESIC challans, and attendance logs before monthly billing clearance.
- Ensure contract workers are properly trained on plant safety protocols.
4. Employee Relations & Industrial Relations (IR)
- Maintain healthy employee relations on the shop floor; address and resolve worker grievances promptly to prevent unrest.
- Foster a culture of safety and discipline in alignment with chemical industry standards.
- Assist in drafting show-cause notices, charge sheets, and managing domestic inquiries if disciplinary issues arise.
5. Talent Acquisition & Performance Management
- Source and recruit technical staff, operators, and plant engineers through consultants, job portals, and local networks.
- Assist in the annual performance appraisal process for plant personnel.
- Identify training needs, especially regarding safety, chemical handling, and operational SOPs, and maintain training matrices.
