Job Description
We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Operations & Business Development Manager - IT SECTOR to join a growing company in Calicut, Kerala.
This is a multidisciplinary role suited to a professional who combines business development and operational leadership with a strong understanding of technology, digital marketing, and project delivery. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations, developing new business opportunities, coordinating technical and creative teams, overseeing projects, and maintaining strong client relationships.
The ideal candidate does not necessarily need to be a hands-on expert in every technical discipline listed below but should have sufficient practical knowledge to understand requirements, manage specialists, evaluate project progress, and communicate effectively with clients and teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and improve day-to-day business and project operations.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities and potential client relationships.
- Handle client meetings, proposals, presentations, follow-ups, and commercial negotiations.
- Convert client requirements into clear project scopes and actionable deliverables.
- Lead and coordinate developers, designers, digital marketers, and other team members.
- Plan projects, assign responsibilities, track deadlines, and ensure timely delivery.
- Monitor project quality, productivity, profitability, and client satisfaction.
- Coordinate multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Develop operational processes and workflows to improve team efficiency.
- Support digital marketing, SEO, web development, and technology-related projects from a management perspective.
- Identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and long-term client engagement.
- Provide regular updates and reports to management on operations, projects, and business development activities.

Candidate Profile
- Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience.
- Proven track record in operations, business development, project management, or a comparable multidisciplinary role.
- Strong leadership and team coordination capabilities.
- Excellent client communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Commercially minded with the ability to identify and convert business opportunities.
- Strong understanding of digital and technology-based projects.
- Ability to manage multiple teams, clients, deadlines, and projects simultaneously.
- Self-driven, accountable, organised, and solution-oriented.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Candidates familiar with the Kerala business environment are preferred.
- Kerala-based/native candidates preferred.
