Job Title: Quality Control Engineer (Mechanical) – SPM & Automation
Key Responsibilities
Inspections: Conduct incoming material, in-process, and final inspections of components and assemblies.
Defect Analysis: Identify defects, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
Documentation: Maintain detailed records of inspection results, test reports, and non-conformance reports.
Standards Compliance: Ensure adherence to engineering drawings, CAD models, and industry standards (ASME, BSEN, ISO).
Supplier Management: Perform supplier audits and evaluate vendor quality performance
Quality Documentation: Maintain detailed inspection reports, rejection reports, rework records, and quality manual documentation.
Root Cause Analysis (RCA): Identify, investigate, and resolve quality failures, ensuring corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) are implemented.
Compliance: Ensure all machinery adheres to ISO 9001:2015, IATF 16949, and safety regulations.
Collaboration: Coordinate with design, procurement, and production teams to resolve quality discrepancies on the shop floor.
Measurement Management: Calibrate and use precision measuring instruments (Vernier, Micrometer, Bore Gauge).
Key Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
Experience: 2–5+ years in QC for Mechanical, machine building, or industrial automation.
Technical Skills: Deep understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and reading engineering drawings.
Software Skills: Familiarity with CAD viewer software, MS Office (Excel), and Quality Management software.
Standards Knowledge: Familiarity with ISO systems and IATF documentation.
Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
