Job Description: Pre-Primary TeacherRole Overview
We are seeking a patient, creative, and energetic Pre-Primary Teacher to foster a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for our youngest learners (ages 3–6). You will play a pivotal role in shaping children's first experiences with school, focusing on early literacy, numeracy, and crucial social-emotional development.
Key Responsibilities
- Curriculum & Instruction: Plan and deliver age-appropriate, play-based lessons that introduce foundational reading, writing, and math concepts.
- Classroom Management: Maintain a safe, clean, organized, and engaging classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Social Development: Guide children in developing social skills, emotional regulation, empathy, and good habits (e.g., sharing, hygiene).
- Assessment & Reporting: Observe, track, and document each child’s developmental milestones and academic progress.
- Parent Communication: Maintain open, regular communication with parents regarding their child’s growth, behavior, and daily activities.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE), Child Development, or a relevant teaching certification (e.g., Montessori, NTT) is preferred
- Experience: Proven experience working with preschool-aged children in a structured setting.
- Skills:
- Exceptional patience, empathy, and communication skills.
- Creativity in developing arts, crafts, music, and storytelling activities.
- Basic knowledge of child CPR and first aid (preferred).
