Job Summary
The Freight Forwarding Executive is responsible for coordinating domestic and international shipments, ensuring timely movement of cargo, maintaining compliance with shipping regulations, and providing excellent customer service. The role involves coordinating with shipping lines, airlines, transporters, customs brokers, and clients to ensure smooth logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate import and export shipments by sea, air, and road.
- Book cargo with shipping lines, airlines, and transport providers.
- Prepare and verify shipping documents such as:
- Bill of Lading (BL)
- Air Waybill (AWB)
- Commercial Invoice
- Packing List
- Shipping Bill
- Certificate of Origin (COO), where applicable.
- Coordinate with customs brokers for customs clearance activities.
- Track shipments and provide regular status updates to customers.
- Liaise with overseas agents, vendors, transporters, warehouses, and shipping partners.
- Ensure compliance with customs regulations and international trade requirements.
- Resolve shipment delays, documentation discrepancies, and operational issues.
- Maintain accurate shipment records in the ERP/TMS system.
- Verify freight invoices and support billing activities.
- Prepare shipment reports, MIS, and operational performance reports.
- Monitor freight costs and identify opportunities for operational efficiency.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and service providers.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Commerce, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in freight forwarding, shipping, or logistics operations.

Working Conditions

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
