FRP Flower Pot Production Technician – Hand Lay-Up

Job Summary:
We at Modshell Habitats are looking for motivated candidates to join our FRP production team for manufacturing FRP flower pots and related products using the hand lay-up process. Candidates will be trained in fiberglass handling, resin application, mould preparation, finishing, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
Production Activities
● Prepare molds for FRP flower pot manufacturing.
● Perform hand lay-up process using resin and fiberglass materials.
● Apply gel coat, resin, and fiberglass mat properly.
● Remove air bubbles using rollers and hand tools.
● Demould, trim, sand, and finish FRP products.
Material & Resin Handling
● Handle resin, catalyst, fiberglass, and other materials safely.
● Measure and mix resin according to specified mixing ratios.
● Maintain proper material usage and reduce wastage.
Quality Control
● Check products for finish quality, defects, dimensions, and strength.
● Follow production quality standards and work instructions.
Safety & PPE
● Use PPE such as gloves, masks, aprons, and safety equipment.
● Follow workplace safety and chemical handling procedures.
● Maintain cleanliness and proper housekeeping in the work area.
Required Knowledge & Skills
● Basic knowledge of FRP chemistry and resin chemistry.
● Basic understanding of composite materials and hand lay-up process.
● Knowledge of material handling and resin mixing.
● Understanding of resin-to-catalyst mixing ratios.
● Awareness of PPE usage and workplace safety practices.
● Basic quality control understanding.
● Willingness to learn and work in a production environment.
Training
● Professional training will be provided for hand lay-up process, resin handling, quality standards, and safety procedures.
Salary
₹12,000 – ₹25,000 per month (negotiable based on candidate skill set and experience)
Qualification
● ITI / Diploma
● B.Sc Chemistry and other related subjects
