Detailing Engineer – AutoCAD
Experience: 3–7 Years
Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech – Civil / Structural Engineering
Industry: PEB / Structural Steel
Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Detailing Engineer with strong AutoCAD skills to prepare accurate structural steel and PEB drawings as per design requirements and project specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare PEB and structural steel detailing drawings using AutoCAD.
- Develop GA, fabrication/shop, assembly and erection drawings.
- Prepare detailed drawings for columns, rafters, beams, bracings, connections, plates and other structural components.
- Interpret structural design drawings, specifications and engineering inputs.
- Ensure accurate dimensions, member sizes, material specifications and connections.
- Coordinate with design, fabrication, estimation and project teams for drawing requirements.
- Incorporate design revisions and client comments into drawings.
- Check drawings for accuracy and completeness before submission/release.
- Resolve detailing issues and discrepancies in coordination with the engineering team.
- Follow applicable project standards, codes and client specifications.
- Ensure timely completion and release of drawings as per project schedules.
Required Skills:
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD 2D.
- Good knowledge of PEB and structural steel detailing.
- Understanding of fabrication and erection requirements.
- Ability to read and interpret structural drawings.
- Knowledge of steel connections, bolts, welds, plates and structural members.
- Good attention to detail and drawing accuracy.
- Knowledge of Tekla Structures will be an added advantage.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
Experience: 3–7 years in PEB / structural steel detailing using AutoCAD.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
