Job Summary
The EDM Operator will be responsible for operating EDM machines for manufacturing, repair, and maintenance of moulds and tooling components while ensuring quality and productivity standards are met.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate EDM machines.
- Read and understand engineering drawings.
- Machine mould components, inserts, cores, and cavities as per specifications.
- Ensure quality and accuracy of finished components.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and housekeeping.
- Assist in mould repair and modification activities.
- Follow safety, quality, and 5S requirements.
Qualification
- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related trade.
- CSIO-trained candidates will be preferred.
Experience
- 1–3 years of experience in EDM machine operation.
- Experience in plastic injection moulding or tool room environment preferred.
Salary
₹22,000 – ₹30,000 per month (Based on experience and skills)
Working Hours
Monday to Saturday | 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM
