We are seeking an experienced and motivated Retail Sales Associate Trainer to deliver industry-relevant retail training and enhance learner employability.
Job Summary:
The Retail Sales Associate Trainer will be responsible for conducting training sessions, developing trainee competencies, maintaining documentation, and preparing candidates for employment opportunities in the retail sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver classroom and practical training for Retail Sales Associate courses under skill development and project initiatives.
- Conduct sessions on:
- Retail Fundamentals & Store Operations
- Customer Service & Customer Relationship Management
- Sales Techniques & Product Selling Skills
- Visual Merchandising & Display Management
- Billing, POS Operations & Inventory Basics
- Communication Skills & Soft Skills
- Grooming, Workplace Etiquette & Personality Development
- Interview Preparation & Employability Skills
- Prepare lesson plans, training schedules, training materials, and assessments.
- Monitor student attendance, performance, and learning progress.
- Conduct practical demonstrations, role plays, mock interviews, and assessments.
- Maintain training records, reports, documentation, and MIS data as per project requirements.
- Provide mentoring, counseling, and career guidance to trainees.
- Coordinate with mobilization, assessment, and placement teams to ensure successful project implementation and learner outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with project guidelines, quality standards, and training deliverables.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Graduate / Postgraduate in any discipline.
- Certification or specialization in Retail / Sales / Marketing / Skill Training preferred.
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience in Retail Training, Retail Operations, Sales, Customer Service, or Skill Development Training.
- Experience in NSDC / Government / CSR / Skill Development Projects preferred.
Required Skills:
- Strong communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
- Good understanding of retail operations, customer handling, and sales processes.
- Knowledge of POS systems, store management, and merchandising concepts.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Email, Internet, and basic reporting tools.
- Strong classroom management, documentation, and learner engagement skills.
