Key Responsibilities
- Machine Setup: Secure workpieces, select the correct cutting tools, and install fixtures.
- Programming & Offsetting: Input or load CNC programs, and make offset adjustments for accuracy.
- Operation: Perform facing, turning, boring, and drilling operations by spinning the material vertically against a fixed cutting head.
- Quality Control: Use precise measuring instruments (micrometers, vernier calipers) to inspect components against engineering drawings.
- Maintenance: Perform routine machine upkeep and follow strict safety protocols.
Typical Qualifications
- Education: ITI, Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (DME), or B.E. degrees.
- Skills: Knowledge of CNC controls, interpreting mechanical drawings, and using measuring tools.
Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
