About the Role
Teamwork Communications is looking for an experienced PR Manager – Healthcare to lead and manage healthcare-focused PR mandates. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in healthcare communications, media relations, strategic PR planning, and client management, with a proven ability to develop compelling stories and secure relevant media coverage.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic PR and communication plans for healthcare clients.
- Manage end-to-end PR mandates for hospitals, healthcare brands, doctors, health-tech companies, and other healthcare organizations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare, business, lifestyle, and mainstream media.
- Identify and create relevant media opportunities, including interviews, features, expert comments, opinion pieces, and thought-leadership stories.
- Develop press releases, media pitches, briefing documents, key messages, and other communication materials.
- Coordinate and manage media interactions, press conferences, interviews, and other PR activities.
- Position doctors, healthcare professionals, and senior leadership as industry thought leaders.
- Monitor healthcare news, trends, and conversations to identify proactive PR opportunities.
- Handle client communication, regular updates, PR reports, and campaign performance.
- Work closely with internal content and creative teams to develop impactful communication campaigns.
- Manage junior team members and ensure timely delivery of client requirements.
- Track media coverage and analyze PR outcomes against campaign objectives.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in PR/Corporate Communications, with strong exposure to the healthcare sector.
- Prior experience in a PR agency is preferred.
- Strong healthcare media network and established journalist relationships.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong understanding of healthcare communications and media landscape.
- Ability to independently manage clients and multiple PR mandates.
- Strong storytelling, pitching, and media relations skills.
- Good understanding of current healthcare trends and news.
- Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Candidate Profile
Candidates who have handled PR for hospitals, doctors, healthcare institutions, health-tech brands, diagnostics, pharma, wellness, or medical organizations will be preferred.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
