Job Summary
The Engineer Trainee will assist in the installation, commissioning, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Fire Alarm Systems, CCTV Surveillance Systems, Public Address (PA) Systems, and other Electronic Security Systems. The candidate will work closely with senior engineers and project teams to ensure successful project execution, system performance, and customer satisfaction.
Key ResponsibilitiesFire Alarm Systems
- Assist in the installation and wiring of Fire Alarm Control Panels, Detectors, Manual Call Points (MCPs), Hooters, Modules, and related devices.
- Support testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance and system health checks.
- Maintain installation, testing, and service records.
CCTV Systems
- Assist in the installation and configuration of IP and Analog CCTV Cameras.
- Support DVR/NVR setup, networking, and remote monitoring configuration.
- Conduct camera testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance activities.
- Ensure proper cable management and system documentation.
Public Address (PA) Systems
- Assist in the installation of amplifiers, speakers, microphones, controllers, and associated equipment.
- Support testing and commissioning of PA Systems.
- Troubleshoot audio quality, connectivity, and performance issues.
General Responsibilities
- Follow project drawings, BOQ, technical specifications, and installation standards.
- Prepare daily work reports, service reports, and site documentation.
- Coordinate with customers, contractors, vendors, and internal project teams.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality procedures, and company policies.
- Travel to project sites for installation, commissioning, and maintenance activities as required.
- Learn new technologies and participate in technical training programs.
- Support MIS, documentation, project execution, and sales-related technical activities when required.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, Telecommunication, or a related field.
- Freshers or candidates with up to 1 year of relevant experience may apply.
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of Fire Alarm Systems, CCTV Systems, and PA Systems.
- Understanding of electrical wiring, structured cabling, and networking fundamentals.
- Ability to read technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
- Good communication, reporting, and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to travel and work at project sites across India.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of Fire Alarm and Security System brands such as Honeywell, Notifier, Morley, Edwards, Bosch, Hikvision, Dahua, CP Plus, and equivalent systems.
- Familiarity with testing instruments, hand tools, and commissioning procedures.
- Basic computer proficiency in MS Office, Email Communication, and Documentation.

Compensation
CTC Range (Freshers): ₹2.0 LPA – ₹3.5 LPA
