Position: Business Development Executive
Industry: Industrial Architecture, Engineering & Project Management Consultancy (PMC)
Location: Pune
Reports To: General Manager
1. Position Overview
The Business Development Executive will be responsible for generating new business opportunities in the Industrial, Institutional, Infrastructure and Government sectors for Architectural, Engineering and Project Management Consultancy services. The role involves lead generation, client relationship management, tender tracking, proposal coordination, and strategic market expansion.
2. Key Responsibilities
· Identify and develop new business opportunities in:
· Industrial Projects (Factories, Warehouses, PEB Structures, Manufacturing Units)
· Government & PSU Projects
· Railway Infrastructure Projects (e.g., Indian Railways, Central Railway, SWR, etc.)
· Institutional & Commercial Developments
· Develop and maintain a database of potential clients, contractors, industrial groups, and government bodies.
· Conduct market research to identify upcoming projects and expansion plans.
Track tenders of state and central government portals from platforms such as:
1. Railways
2.State PWDs, CPWD, MIDC, and other Government portals.
3.Coordinate preparation of:
· Technical proposals
· Financial proposals
· Pre-qualification documents
· Liaise with architects, engineers, and management for compilation of technical credentials.
· Ensure timely submission and compliance with tender requirements.
· Develop and maintain strong relationships with:
· Industrial clients
· Infrastructure developers
· Government officials
· Contractors & PMC firms
· Arrange and attend client meetings, presentations, and negotiations.
· Follow up on proposals and maintain business communication.
· Develop BD strategies for:
· Industrial consultancy projects
· Railway redevelopment projects
· Institutional infrastructure
· Identify joint venture / consortium opportunities.
· Represent the firm in industry events, exhibitions, and networking forums.
· Coordinate development of marketing materials, company profile, and project portfolio.
3. Required Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration / Marketing
· 2–6 years of experience
4. Required Skills
· Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
· Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
· Strong documentation and coordination skills.
5. Compensation Structure
Fixed Salary + Performance Incentive
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
