Job Summary
G-TEC Education is looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic, and target-oriented Student Counsellor to guide students in choosing the right career-oriented courses. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to convert enquiries into admissions.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel students and parents about G-TEC courses and career opportunities.
- Understand students' educational background and recommend suitable courses.
- Handle walk-in enquiries, phone calls, WhatsApp enquiries, and online leads.
- Follow up with prospective students until admission is completed.
- Achieve monthly admission and revenue targets.
- Maintain student enquiry records and update the CRM/database.
- Coordinate with the marketing team regarding promotional campaigns and events.
- Conduct campus visits, seminars, and educational awareness programs when required.
- Assist students with admission procedures and documentation.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with students and parents.
- Provide excellent customer service throughout the admission process.
Required Skills
- Excellent communication skills in Tamil and English
- Strong interpersonal and counselling skills
- Good convincing and negotiation ability
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, Email, Internet)
- Knowledge of CRM software is an added advantage
- Positive attitude with a customer-focused approach
- Ability to work under targets and deadlines
Qualification
- Any Bachelor's Degree (Preferred)
- Freshers with excellent communication skills may also apply.
- Experience in Educational Counselling, Sales, or Customer Relationship is preferred.
