Position: Assistant Cook cum Kitchen Helper
Duty Hours: 8.5 Hours per Day
Shift: Rotational Shift
Salary: ₹16,000 per month
Dress Code: Formal Uniform / Neat & Clean Appearance
Job Summary
We are looking for a hardworking and responsible Assistant Cook cum Kitchen Helper to support daily kitchen operations. The candidate will assist in food preparation, maintain kitchen cleanliness, perform dishwashing duties, and help ensure hygiene standards are maintained at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the cook in preparation of meals and kitchen activities.
- Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and other food items.
- Prepare dough (atta guthna) and support in basic food preparation.
- Assist in preparation of vegetarian and basic Chinese food items.
- Wash utensils, dishes, kitchen equipment, and maintain cleanliness.
- Clean kitchen floors, counters, storage areas, and dining area.
- Ensure proper storage of food items and kitchen materials.
- Maintain hygiene and sanitation standards in the kitchen area.
- Dispose of kitchen waste properly and maintain cleanliness.
- Assist in serving food whenever required.
- Follow instructions given by the Kitchen Supervisor/Management.
- Handle kitchen work efficiently during busy working hours.
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of kitchen work and food preparation.
- Knowledge of dishwashing and kitchen cleaning procedures.
- Ability to work in rotational shifts.
- Hardworking, disciplined, and hygienic.
- Ability to work under pressure and in a team environment.
Qualification & Experience
- Minimum Qualification: 10th / 12th Pass
- Experience in kitchen/canteen/hotel work preferred.
