Project Head – EPC Projects

Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Project Head – EPC Projects to lead and manage end-to-end EPC (Engineering, Procurement & Construction) projects in Kochi. The ideal candidate will be responsible for project planning, execution, coordination, cost control, quality, timelines, and successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Take complete ownership of EPC projects from planning through final completion and handover.
- Develop project execution plans, schedules, budgets, and resource requirements.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, vendors, subcontractors, and clients.
- Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion within approved budgets.
- Manage manpower, materials, equipment, and other project resources effectively.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and statutory regulations.
- Identify project risks, delays, and technical or operational issues and implement corrective actions.
- Review project costs, track expenses, and support effective cost control.
- Conduct regular project review meetings and provide progress updates to management and clients.
- Coordinate with contractors and subcontractors to ensure smooth site execution.
- Ensure proper documentation, billing, measurement, approvals, and project handover.
- Maintain strong client relationships and resolve project-related concerns professionally.
- Lead and motivate the project team to achieve project objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's/Diploma degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a relevant discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in EPC project execution/project management.
- Strong knowledge of project planning, execution, coordination, and site management.
- Experience handling multiple stakeholders, contractors, vendors, and client representatives.
- Good understanding of project schedules, budgets, quality control, and safety procedures.
- Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of project deliverables.
- Proficiency in MS Office and project management tools/software is preferred.
- Candidates available for immediate joining will be given preference.
- Candidates currently based in Kochi/Ernakulam or willing to relocate are preferred.
