Resident Medical Officer (RMO)
*Role Summary:*
The Resident Medical Officer (RMO) is responsible for providing continuous medical care to admitted patients, supporting consultants during treatment, handling emergency situations, and ensuring proper clinical documentation. The RMO plays a critical role in patient monitoring and hospital clinical operations.
*Key Responsibilities:*
- Monitor and manage admitted patients (IPD) under guidance of consultants
- Respond to emergency situations and stabilize patients
- Assist consultants during rounds, procedures, and treatment planning
- Ensure accurate clinical documentation including case sheets and treatment orders
- Coordinate with nursing staff for patient care and medication administration
- Communicate patient condition updates to consultants
- Prepare discharge summaries and maintain patient documentation
- Handle night duty responsibilities including emergency admissions
- Ensure compliance with hospital clinical protocols and safety standards
*Key Skills Required:*
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
- Ability to handle emergency situations calmly
- Good documentation and patient communication skills
- Team coordination with nursing and clinical departments
- Understanding of hospital protocols and patient safety
*Qualifications:*
- MBBS or BAMS degree from a recognized institution
- Valid medical council registration where applicable
- 0–3 years clinical experience preferred
- Experience in hospital emergency or IPD management is an advantage
*Reporting To:*
Consultant Doctors / Clinical Operations Manager / Medical Director
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
